To burn loose incense you will need charcoal and a suitable fireproof/heatproof container, preferably created for the purpose. By using loose incense, you can be assured that it is pure and free from the additives necessary to make 'self-lighting' incense (e.g. Stick Incense).
HOW TO USE Use tweezers to hold 1/2 - whole charcoal disc over the flame and allow it to ignite, then place carefully in your container. Do not add incense right away - the coal must become 'ashy' before you sprinkle a tiny amount of your chosen blend over it. Use with care in a well-ventilated area, away from children/pets. |
